I have worked with Oasis, and I've actually seen their bookstores in various cities in Nigeria. These people do more than just talk about 'reaching the millions'—they put in the hard work and planning to make it actually happen on the ground. When they tell me they are going to do something, it happens. I commend them to everyone who cares about the future of Africa.

Dean Merrill, Author; Vice President and Publisher, International Bible Society

Oasis International is extremely important because of your vision for providing Christian literature to areas that have the greatest need. Your concern for a wide variety of pricing issues, distribution, and content is so necessary. You have exemplary reputation for strong relationships, and have done an amazing job emphasizing self-sustaining indigenous book distribution.

Doug Ross, President Evangelical Christian Publishers Association, Retired

The work of Oasis International grows out of solid commitment to gospel truth and tireless zeal to spread God's saving message. Informing this work is years of experience in literature distribution and extensive on-the-ground experience in Africa itself. It is written of Samuel's era: ‘Word from the Lord was rare in those days.' What an awful epitaph. It is sadly all too true of most of the African continent. Any lasting solution to the current social disintegration must involve increased accessibility to Bibles and related literature. I know of no organization better placed and prepared than Oasis International to make headway in a monumental movement whose hour has come."

Robert W. Yarbrough, PhD, New Testament Department Chair, Trinity Evangelical Divinity School

Christianity is expanding in Africa at an unprecedented rate. But leadership training is virtually impossible without a strategy for developing and delivering quality Christian books and materials. I know of none that is doing what Oasis seeks to accomplish. Their emphasis on finding, publishing and selling quality Christian books at affordable prices is an exception to the rule. I highly endorse Oasis and their ministry.

Phillip R. Walker, PhD, President, International Christian Ministries

It is not much use producing good Christian literature if it does not reach the people who most need it. Oasis International is committed to making Christian books available to Christian leaders in Africa and equipping them for their ministry. I am pleased to have this opportunity to commend this work to your praying and your giving.

Howard Marshall, Honorary Research Professor of New Testament, University of Aberdeen

What if you could solve a literature famine caused by poverty, lack of resources, and distribution problems to reach large parts of an entire continent for Christ? Oasis is empowering nationals in English speaking Africa so that the man on the street in Ethiopia or Ghana can walk into a Christian bookstore and actually afford to buy a Bible or a book that he previously only dreamed of owning. It is the only organization I know of that is bringing publishers, booksellers and ministries together to accomplish this result.
