They are doing remarkable work in getting the Bible and Christian literature into the hands of those who would not otherwise have an opportunity to receive it. I commend Ed, Matthew, and Oasis International for the fine work they are doing to spread the Gospel of Christ and to bring the African people into the Kingdom.
– David W. Clark, President Palm Beach Atlantic University
That is the core of our ministry. Beyond the ongoing work, Oasis seeks funding to grow the ministry. Below we highlighted the major projects that need your help to get off the ground, right now. You can give to any of these needs specifically at our donate page, or contact us to see how you can be involved.
Oasis is beginning work on the first Protestant Bible with helps and applications written by Africans for the African context. This is a momentous project, one that has great potential to impact the church in Africa.

Many of Africa’s teachers and preachers lack a single reference book, beyond their Bible, to help them prepare for teaching and equip them for ministry. Oasis is bringing the 15 books that every African pastor should have in his library to the church. These will be available in the most affordable formats for seminary students and pastors around the continent.

Many of us grew up in Sunday School, learning familiar stories about God, His love, and how to treat others. Our teachers had a lesson guide to follow, a craft to teach, an application, and guidance from experienced educators on how to apply the story to children’s lives. This reality is often missing for a generation of African children. Until now… educational publisher, Gospel Light Worldwide, has developed a culturally-relevant, Africa-specific curriculum for Sunday School. Oasis—an expert in book distribution—is partnering with Gospel Light to bring this curriculum to the poor majority in Africa.

We need to equip new leaders in the global south with the great books that have helped form the core doctrines and ethics of historical biblical Christianity. These are the books that have helped to form the thinking of generations of Christian leaders. Oasis is launching a line of these great Christian classics in 2011—value priced for Africa.

We have the opportunity to invest in a line of low-cost ministry Bibles that will meet the needs of Africa’s poor majority. A modern, easy-to-read version with simple vocabulary will provide students a great tool for ministry and evangelism to those who have English as a second language. We will produce these Bibles in low-cost, built-for-Africa formats and price points.
