Estimates reveal that 200 million Christians in Africa lack a Bible. Estimates reveal that there are 17,000 new believers in Africa every day, 500,000 a month, and 6,000,000 a year.  No mission or Bible society can subsidize getting Bibles and books to all these people! A healthy retail distribution network can meet the needs of the growing Church.

To supply the great needs, affordable books must be available for people where they shop. Local vendors and bookstores are the ones that have the ability to meet this need. Beyond this, the Oasis model creates jobs where Christians can earn their living by selling books, providing household income and doing ministry in a dynamic marriage. At a bookshop people can choose the books they need the most for their Christian growth instead of these being chosen for them in a subsidized program. Indigenous retailers know their culture and the needs of the church and they are the ones who decide what books to carry. Moreover, competition increases operational and cost efficiencies.

1) an initial order of $1,000 or more
2) proven ability to remit funds in USD
3) two credit references
4) a minimum down payment of $500 on an initial order.
