Africa is a place where the reality of spiritual warfare is tangible.

In too many places, physical hardship and political instability are a way of life. Oasis seeks to face every challenge with a spirit of prayer and submission to God. We also know that “when two or more are gathered in Christ’s name” He will bend His ear. We claim this and we experience this.

We could use your prayers in these specific areas:

• Oasis staff travels back and forth between the U.S. and Africa, meeting with our affiliates, partners, and Christian leaders. Pray for safety, health, and conversations that cause Oasis to progress in its mission.

• The economies of Africa are experiencing the severe economic slump approximately 12-24 months after developed economies. This affects our business and our African partners’ businesses. Pray for steady sales despite the downturn.

• The health of our 20 plus staff in Nigeria, especially in the face of malaria’s constant threat and that of other tropical diseases.

• Peace in Jos, Nigeria - the location of our African Headquarters. Repeated religious violence has occurred over the past five years.

• Discernment and wisdom in how and where to expand our work.

• That God would provide finance for our major initiatives.
