Oasis International serves areas of the English-speaking world where people lack access to affordable Christian literature and the Bibles needed to mature in their faith.

In these countries, the measure of annual incomes is in hundreds, not thousands, of dollars. The great needs of Africa, in particular, drive us to concentrate on this continent, where the Church is experiencing significant growth yet printed resources are scarce.

We are one of very few organizations that specifically distributes affordable Christian literature on a multinational basis throughout English-speaking Africa. We accomplish this by bringing together key partners from around the world.

Our primary distinctives include strong relationships with publishers, empowering self-sustaining indigenous book distributors, and our strategic approach.

Over the last 30 years, we developed strong relationships with publishers and distributors in the United States, the United Kingdom, and across the developing world.

We emphasize self-sustaining indigenous book distribution. Subsidized distribution is typically short-lived; instead, Oasis concentrates on developing projects that are commercially viable.

Oasis International has developed a specialized low-cost approach to production, warehousing, and distribution. We eliminate the obstacles in the production and printing process that typically drive up costs, making books that we distribute affordable to the economically poor. Through Oasis, books that a consumer in the United States might buy for $10.00 can often be bought for as little as $3.00 in Africa!
